Young Chefs and Well-behaved Dogs

If you missed this past weekend’s farmers’ market, no sweat. There’s one every Saturday through the fall. Here’s what’s on the agenda for this week:

Is your dog Farmers’ Market ready? On Saturday, May 30, 2009, sign up for the free Doggy Charm School being offered at the Kingston Farmers’ Market and find out. Also returning is Operation Frontline featuring a kid’s cooking class and food and nutrition demonstrations. All this and more takes place on Wall Street in the historic Stockade District in uptown Kingston from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. As always, vendors’ products include certified organic and naturally grown farm fresh fruits, vegetables and other assorted specialty items representing the best the Hudson Valley has to offer. The Kingston Farmers’ Market is a rain-or-shine event. It’s close to the New York State Thruway traffic circle with plenty of free parking.
